SOHO (Small Office Home Office)

Yitran’s products allow for shared and extended Internet connectivity throughout the office using the existing electrical wiring to extend the Internet connectivity provided by xDSL/cable modem.

In addition, file sharing between personal computers can be efficiently achieved over the power line, as well as peripheral sharing (such as a printer used by several computers located in different rooms). 

The limited number of phone jacks in typical existing office/home and the high cost of installing and maintaining additional ones, call for a simpler solution. IP telephony over electrical wiring is made possible using Yitran’s technology. Having multiple phone points within the SOHO is no longer an issue and does not require any logistical preparations. Every power outlet can be used as a phone jack with IP over power line telephony.
