Advantages of PLC Technology Introduced at Neotech21

PLC technology and its advantages were introduced during the Neotech21 seminar,
held in Samsung (Seoul, Korea), by ITRAN Communications and its Japanese partners
Renesas and Hitachi ULSI. Engineers and managers of different Samsung divisions
took part in the seminar.
Hitachi ULSI presented an impressive PLC demonstration, which included their new ULTRA PLC module,
combining ITRAN'S IT800D PLC modem IC, Hitachi's H8 microcontroller and Hitachi's protocol for
narrowband PLC applications as well as an Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) demo system based on this module.
Further discussions are now expected as a result of this successful presentation.
