ISRAEL — May 2008 — Yitran Communications, Ltd., a
leading provider of Powerline Communication (PLC)
technology, will exhibit at HomeConn, part of
Connectivity Week in Santa Clara, May 22-25.
Yitran will be located in
Booth 505 where it will present its IT800D, IT800Y,
RF-PLC Module and a preview of its new IT700 IC,
which will lower cost and foot print by 50% and be
released in Q3 of 2008. Visitors to the booth will
be able to view meters embedded with Yitran’s PLC
technology for AMR (Automatic Meter Reading). Yitran
will also feature HomePlug® Command and Control
(HomePlug C&C) v1.0, an industry open standard based
on Yitran’s IT800 transceiver technology.
HomePlug C&C v1.0 is a
Buildy Award finalist.
The winners of the 2008 Buildy Awards will be
selected by the ConnectivityWeek attendees during
the Expo on Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday. The winners will be announced during the
Awards Gala, Thursday evening, May 22, in Santa
Clara, CA. Within the award categories—Vision, Open
Initiative, Green Initiative, Best New Product,
Building Connectivity Implementation, Home
Connectivity Implementation, GridWise Applied, and
Automated Demand Response (DR) Implementation—the
finalists are an innovative mix representing all
facets of smart device connectivity, integration and
interoperability.
