Beer-Sheva, ISRAEL — April 2008 — Yitran Communications, Ltd., a leading provider of PLC (Power Line Communication) technology, will exhibit at Metering, Billing/CIS America 2008 in San Diego, April 20-23. 

Yitran will be located in Booth 601 where it will present its IT800D, IT800Y, RF-PLC Module and a preview of its new IT700 IC, which will lower cost and foot print by 50%. Visitors to the booth will be able to view meters embedded with Yitran’s PLC technology for AMR (Automatic Meter Reading). Yitran will also feature HomePlug® Command and Control (HomePlug C&C) v1.0, an industry open standard based on Yitran’s IT800 transceiver technology. 

 HomePlug® C&C v1.0 has a ratified PHY and MAC layer and the workgroup is now close to complete the work on network layer and profiles.  Their work continues with a final submission for the compliance testing and interoperability program.
