ISRAEL — January 2008 — Yitran Communications,
Ltd., a leading provider of PLC (Power Line
Communication) technology, will exhibit at
Distributech©
in Tampa on January 22-24, 2008.
Yitran
will be located at Booth 437 where it will display
its IT800 IC technology and the HomePlug Command and
Control (HPCC) industry standard, which is based on
Yitran’s IT800 transceiver technology.
HPCC
has four key areas of impact: power management
solutions to save money and conserve energy; remote
monitoring and control that delivers convenience
through remote accessibility; safety and security
features to protect from fire, theft and natural

applications such as networking thermostats in homes
and demand control, remotely managing high power
appliances, will assure a more environmentally
friendly future.
HPCC enables highly reliable, low-cost command and
control platforms based on power line communications
ICs. The work group that defined the HPCC standard
specification included Ariane Controls, Corporate
Systems Engineering, GE, Huawei, LG Electronics,
RadioShack and Simply Automated.
HomePlug is an industry
alliance comprised of business leaders from
Technology to Services and Content providers. The
alliance's mission is to enable and promote rapid
availability, adoption and implementation of cost
effective, interoperable and standards-based home
power line products.
