Yitran is the inventor of the HomePlug CC (Command &
Control), upcoming standard. At the Consumer Electronics Show
(CES) in Las Vegas January 8-11, 2007 Yitran will show, a
combination of its Powerline Communication technology together
with Wireless solutions on a variety of applications including
Home Automation and Automatic Meters Reading (AMR).
The demonstration will take place at the HomePlug booth -
South 2 27018.
This will be the first time for HomePlug to present the coming
CC standard on its stand and it will be a great chance for
visitors to understand what it is all about.
Oren Kaufman, US Marketing Managing Director for Yitran said
that "The CES would be the best platform to show consumers how
the Home Energy world and Metering in particular, will combine
into Home Networking Command and Control applications, as part
of the future Smart Home".
Avner Matmor, Yitran’s CEO, who will be present at the CES show,
said that after winning the design at Endesa’s AMR project, one
of the largest power utilities in Europe, it was time for
HomePlug CC Powerline Communication to be adopted by the
Utilities in the US too. The show is a great opportunity to show
the benefit of combining the idea of AMR into new services to
the home.
