xDSL and Cable modem Extension

DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) and cable modem technologies are commonly used nowadays to provide broadband Internet connectivity to residential and business customers. The main drawback of these solutions is the fact that the PC used to surf the Internet must be located in the vicinity of the xDSL/cable modem. PLC seamlessly overcomes this drawback as a complementary technology extends the range of the connectivity to the entire location.  The existing electrical wiring can be used to further deliver the Internet connectivity to other rooms, with no need for a special infrastructure. Multiple desktop and laptop computers are commonly found in offices and homes alike.
