ACSK (Adaptive Code Shift Keying)
ACSK is a novel, patent pending, non conventional, direct sequence spread
spectrum modulation technology.
An extension of Yitran patented Differential Code Shift Keying (“DCSK”)
modulation, ACSK inherits most DCSK features (such as communication reliability
and robustness), with the added benefit of high speed operation in distorted
channels.
MAIN FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Close to theoretical reliability limits over Additive White Gaussian Noise
(AWGN).
- Improved resistance to pulsed noise and narrow-band interference.
- Resistance to fast variations in line characteristics.
- Short synchronization time.
- Resistance to synchronization errors and timing jitter.
- Fast recovery from severe fade or jamming.
ACSK's inherent reliability is further enhanced by integrating the modulation
technology with Yitran proprietary Forward Short Block, Soft Decoded, Error
Correcting code
Implimentation of ACSK in Yitran ITM1 ASIC enables an ideal solution for home
networking and internet distribution via the existing power line infrastructure.
The ACSK implementation in ITM1 reaches speeds up to 2.5 Mbit/s.
